Call for Tutorials
To offer opportunities for participants to learn new techniques and promote development, the 2022 QSHINE Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials on heterogeneous networking. We seek proposals presented with novel, clear and complete ideas ranging from fundamentals to the latest advances particular in quality, experience, reliability, security and robustness of heterogeneous networking. The tutorials may consist of lectures, interactive workshops, hands-on training, or any combination of the above. We also expect cross-disciplinary related topics to help brainstorm. Exploring diverse ways of organizing the content and interacting with the audience, especially online format are greatly encouraged.
Tutorial proposals should be submitted in PDF format, should not exceed 4 pages, which should contain the following information:
Title, outline, and the relevance to QSHINE audience;
- Motivation for the tutorial (why this, why now, why at QSHINE 2022?);
Short description of the material to be covered (no more than 1000 characters);
Contact information including name, affiliation, email, mailing address, and a two-page biosketch for each presenter;
- Requirements for the audience (e.g., must have their own laptop or other hardware, familiarity with certain knowledge and skills, speed of Internet connection, artifacts to download beforehand, etc.);
- A clear indication of whether or not the tutorial artifacts (slides, video, notebooks, containers/VMs, etc.) are allowed to be posted publicly on the conference website.
Proposals must be emailed to the tutorials chair Xiangjie Kong ([email protected]) with the subject heading QSHINE 2022 Tutorial Proposal.
