Heterogeneous Big Data Processing in Mobile Cloud Computing
Description:
Mobile Cloud Computing emerges as a new computing paradigm where mobile devices exploit the available cloud computing platform for performing specific tasks and/or accessing data on demand. With the widespread explotion of information, an increasing number of acadamic researches and industrial applications result in the appearance of big data from multiple heterogeneous sources in mobile clouds. Storage, transmission, analysis, and processing for such heterogeneous big data are crucially required. The topic in this special session ranges from case studies of particular problems with multisource heterogeneous data to novel learning theories and approaches in mobile clouds.
This special session aims to bring together practitioners and researchers with a particular focus on the interesting topics associated with big data from multiple heterogeneous sources for mibile cloud computing, the indicative topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Energy-efficient and real-time heterogeneous big data processing models and algorithms for mobile clouds;
Heterogeneous big multimedia data processing for mobile clouds;
Heterogeneous big data in wireless communication: theories and applications;
Service model, user behavior analysis, and social community infrastructures in mobile clouds;
Cross-model /domain theories, methods, and applications for heterogeneous big data in mobile clouds;
Platforms, devices, and systems for heterogeneous big data processing in mobile clouds;
This special session solicits theoretical and experimental works along with their real world applications in analyzing and understanding big data from multiple heterogeneous sources in mobile cloud.

All the accepted paper will be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Selected papers, particularly those nominated for the Best Paper competition, will be automatically considered for publication will be invited to publish in the EAI Endorsed Transactions on Mobile Communications and Applications and in the special issues of:
